The Evaluation phase is all about providing an opportunity for the students to provide evidence of how their skills, knowledge and beliefs have changed.
Evaluation also:
- Enables the student to reflect on their progress
- Should ideally be a mix of summative and formative assessments
- Informs the developing process in guiding the teacher's choice of learning activities
Though evaluation activities typically occur at the end of the cycle they should also be ongoing throughout the whole sequence.
